Days 4 All Breed Show,
Shih Tzu- Sunday, July 3, 2006
Today's judging would see the completion
of the remaining 4 FCI groups as well as the highlight
of Richard's day, which would be the entry of 48
Shih Tzu. Wendy had an entry of 86 dogs of various
breeds including Spaniels and Toys. Richard would
also judge the Group 9- Companion and Toy Dogs at
the Group level.
The venue was a beautiful park that
not only had room for over 28 spacious rings but
also camping for exhibitors with motorhomes and
trailers. Each ring was outlined with a tape marker
with the exhibitors framing each ring with their
own personal tents. There is a lot more paper work
at an FCI show as compared to a North American show
and each judge had 2 secretaries (stewards) to assist
in the efficient running of the rings and writing
the critiques the judge dictated for each dog.
The winners of Shih Tzu Puppy Class
was the female Shu-Ling Zsa Zsa Zoo owned by Yvette
Schonenemann (left side) and Best Opposite was the
male puppy, Nettlavallens Hannes Alvinson owned
by Anna-Lena Risberg (right side).

Richard was asked to say a few words
and share his thoughts about the days exhibits after
the judging. His comments were similar to Wendy's
from the previous day. All of the exhibitors were
invited to a Shih Tzu Breed presentation being done
by Wendy & Richard on Tuesday in Gothenberg.
