Day 6- International Show

Today was another awesome day with the 70 degree weather and bright sun. Today's judge was Andrew Brace from England...He chose for Best Of Breed the puppy Happy Del Rinconcito bred and owned by Betty Puerta shown by Alfredo Vanegas. "Remi" was awarded a C.A.C.I.B. towards his International title.

The only nice thing about not winning the breed is that we would have more time for sightseeing, shopping and socializing. Jenny met with some Bullmastiff breeders who thoroughly enjoyed her comments on the breed. We also worked with Doberman friends Carlos and Jimena from Pereira and their handler Juan Carlos with some comments and hints for training and showing..

Larry Clark had a much better day and piloted Jenny Behles Basenji, "Jake" Ch. Ahmahr Nahr's Hady In Red to Group 1st and 4th Reserve Best In Show.

Best In Show was again the handsome Dogo Argentino, Ar Gr Ar Ch Jur Ur Bombon Del Don Ata.

We enjoyed some additional shopping at the local mall and arrived back at Martha and Alberto's for another delicious meal featuring an appetizer of shrimp with seafood 'picente' Colombian style and a spicy chicken curry accompanied by a robust brown fried rice....mouthwatering.
