ASTC National Report

Day 5

Today was a day off from showing and the two main activities included a Pat Trottier 3 hour presentation and an Open House for all specialty participants at locals Mandy & Doug's Carlson's new house. The Pat Trottier seminar focused on breeding strategies and pedigrees and in typical 'Pat" fashion everyone was fascinated by her excellent presentation and knowledge.

Next we were off to Doug & Mandy's for a a showering of Oklahoma Hospitality. Over 60 people attended the affair and enjoyed unwinding in a friendly atmosphere. The catered meal of barbeque pork, sausage, beans and veggies kept many coming back for seconds. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres were plenty and the stories and musings contributed to a spectacular affair. Many of Manny's closest friends treated the day as a combination house warming with hose warming gifts.Doug & Mandy proved to be gracious hosts and truly know what Oklahoma hospitality is all about..
